: After creating your account, pencild guides you through a step-by-step onboarding process to get you set up quickly:

For Individual Artists:

Profile Setup – Enter your display name and Instagram username

Connect Email – Link your Gmail, Outlook, or other email provider

Connect Calendar – Your calendar connects automatically with your email

Connect Instagram (Optional) – Link your Instagram Business/Creator account for DM management

Deposit Setup (Optional) – Connect Stripe to start accepting deposits

Completion – You're ready to start managing clients
: Yes. All onboarding steps except the initial profile setup are optional. You can:

Complete skipped steps later from Settings

Return to the onboarding checklist anytime

Your dashboard shows remaining setup tasks until you've completed (or dismissed) them.
: Most users complete the essential onboarding steps in under 5 minutes:

Email connection takes about 30 seconds (OAuth login)

Instagram connection takes about 30 seconds

Stripe setup requires additional verification (identity, bank account) which may take longer

You can start using pencild immediately after creating your account, even before completing all onboarding steps.

: For Studio Owners:

Studio Creation – Enter your studio name and details

Studio Email – Connect the studio's email account

Studio Instagram (Optional) – Link the studio's Instagram account

Invite Artists – Send invitations to your team members

Set Permissions – Configure default access levels

Completion – Your studio is ready for collaboration
: When you accept a studio invitation, you go through a brief artist onboarding:

Confirm Your Role – Verify your membership role in the studio

Set Permissions – Choose what personal data to share with the studio

Upload Compliance Documents (If required) – Submit any documents the studio requires

Completion – You're added to the studio roster
